Find Your Elected Official

Members of Congress make decisions that impact numerous domains. They choose reductions to Medicare and Social Security, open enrollment policies, and state funding for initiatives such as nutritional assistance (SNAP). Knowing your local, state, and national legislators enables you to advocate for or against particular pieces of legislation. Talking to your representatives will assist you in advocating for better housing, services, and health care for Rhode Island aging adults. Find your elected representative with our guide and make your voice heard. We at the Senior Agenda Coalition of RI are committed to empowering older individuals, caregivers, and individuals with disabilities. If we equip them with the information and assistance they require, together we can work. This will make Rhode Island a more inclusive and stronger community for our aging population.

Whether you are looking to show support or opposition to federal, state or local initiatives, the first step is finding out which office to contact.
